Inaugurates ‘Mini Secretariat’ at last village on IB’s zero line
SUCHETGARH, JAN 22: Taranjit Singh Tony, Chairman Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jammu and Kashmir for Administrative Engagement and Minority Affairs and District Development Council (DDC) Member Suchetgarh has asserted that Suchetgarh is witnessing unprecedented all round development nowadays as a result of the efforts made by the people’s representatives at the Panchayat level.
He expressed this during a function in which he inaugurated Mini Secretariat at Panchayat Ghar Suchetgarh, the last village on the zero line of International Border (IB) here today. Prominent among others present on the occasion were Sarpanch Sham Lal Bhagat, Mandeep Choudhary, Bacchan Singh, Capt Paramjit Singh, Sarpanch Balwinder Choudhary, Choudhary Ramesh Lal and youth leader Choudhary Gara Ram.
Addressing the gathering, the senior Aam Aadmi Party leader said that Suchetgarh is witnessing all round as well as all around development these days. He asserted that all the departments’ men and machinery are on the toes to serve people of Suchetgarh. He said that this has been possible only due to the relentless efforts made here at the Panchayat level.
Tony warned that if any of the departments doesn’t implement any of the central and state sponsored schemes ensuring delivery at the people’s doorstep then the official or officials responsible will be taken to task.
The senior AAP leader said, “We as people’s representatives at the grass roots level as well as on behalf of Aam Aadmi Party ensured the people of Suchetgarh in particular and Jammu as a whole that we will serve the people of Jammu and Kashmir with utmost honesty and dedication.”
Tony reiterated that no stone will be left unturned in coming up to the expectations of the people of the state. He said that it is the outcome of our strong determination to work with honesty and dedication that Suchetgarh region is witnessing a sea change nowadays.
However, Tony said that deteriorating situation of law and order is a seriously worrisome matter as of today. He said that the hands of terrorism are being extended to Jammu region now and Govt must taken necessary stringent measures to nip this evil in the bud and ensure peace in the region.
