Sun Pharma Community Healthcare Society started Medical Facility in Rural Areas with Mobile Healthcare Unit under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
22-09-2022 : As a part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities by Sun Pharma Laboratories Ltd, Bari Brahmana under the banner of Sun Pharma Community Healthcare Society, started Medical Mobile Healthcare facility for the Rural Areas of Samba District unit with the introduction of Ambulance and requisite Medical/Paramedical Staff.
In an impressive function held in their unit at Bari Brahmana, the Mobile Healthcare unit was flagged off by Mrs. Anuradha Gupta(JKAS) District Development Commissioner Samba in presence of Sh. Lalit Mahajan President Bari Brahmana Industries Association, Sh. Ashim Dutta, Plant Head, Dr. Vidhi Bhatial, CMO Samba, Mohamad Usman Dy. S.P, SDPO Bari Brahmana, Sh. Viraaj Malhotra General Secretary Bari Brahmana Industrial Association and officials of Sun Pharma Laboratories Limited Bari Brahmana Jammu.
While welcoming the Chief Guest, Sh. Ashim Dutta, Plant Head of the Unit highlighted the various Initiatives taken by Sun Pharma Group under the CSR activity in Samba District and other parts of the Country and with the Introduction of Mobile Healthcare unit equipped with the requisite Infra Structure and Doctors and Para Medical Facility, the nearby Villagers of Purmandal Block will be benefited and subsequently the Unit will cover the other areas of Samba District.
While speaking on the occasion Sh. Lalit Mahajan President Bari Brahmana Industries Association appreciated the steps taken by Sun Pharma Group by providing the doorstep facilities to local Residents of Purmandal Block and also requested him to adopt a Village as Model Village with the requisite facilities of Healthcare and Cleanliness Campaign under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan of our Hon’ble Prime Minister.
While addressing the gathering, Smt. Anuradha Gupta(JKAS) appreciated the efforts of Sun Pharma Group by introducing the Healthcare facility for the Rural Areas of Samba District and also requested Sh. Lalit Mahajan, President BBIA to take up the matter with the other Corporate Sectors working in the Samba Distt. to come forward by providing the facilities under the CSR initiative.
