Udhampur: DC reviews performance of Banks at DLRC & DCC meet  

UDHAMPUR, APRIL-05:- To review the performance of the Banks in key areas of Deposits and advances for the quarter ended Dec 2021 under Annual Credit plan 2021-22, a DLRC/DCC Meeting of Bankers and District Officers of various Government Departments  of district Udhampur was held today under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib.

The meeting was convened to review the performance of banks regarding achievement under Annual Credit Plan 2021-22 and the position of deposits, advances and CD ratio.

The Convenor,  Manoj Kumar Chaudhary, Lead District Manager, SBI, Udhampur,  welcomed,  Indu Kanwal Chib,  Deputy Commissioner Udhampur ,    Sandeep Ghunawat Manager, RBI ,  Niha Mattoo , Manager  RBI, and Rajesh Kumar, DDM NABARD Udhampur,   C.M. Bhat  Chief Manager, SBI,   Manager DIC, Director RSETI, Chief Agri Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, representatives of various Banks and various other district functionaries who attended the meeting.

Earlier, Lead District Manager, Manoj Kumar Chaudhary informed the house that deposit of the district were Rs. 5889.36 crore and advances were 2505.47 crore as on 31-12-2021. The CD ratio of the district was 42.54%.

Under ACP 2021-22, the achievements were 790.12 crore against the Annual Target of  Rs. 1571.05 crores .The Chairman stressed on the fact that PMJDY camps should   also be held along with the FLC camps in order to ensure 100% coverage in Aadhar Seeding and   under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna   scheme.

Manoj Kumar, LDM informed the House that in respect of KCCs, out of 80298 cases sponsored by agriculture department, Banks have sanctioned 76055 cases and 44229 cases have been credit linked to the tune of Rs.1041.15 crore  upto 31.12.2021. The DC advised to finance liberally in order to achieve 100% farmers under KCCs in the district which would be sponsored by the Agriculture department.

The Chairman held a detailed review of all the Govt. sponsored schemes with special focus on KCC and PMEGP schemes. The Chairman also advised the sponsoring  agencies  to conduct  awareness camps  in the panchayats  in coordination  with banks this year so that  more and more people  are educated, motivated and facilitated.
