Jammu, April 13: Vinay Kumar Gupta on Wednesday lauded the Central government’s decision to extend the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana by another six months till September 2022 and explained that the continuation of the scheme “despite the end of Covid 19 in the Country” highlighted the government’s “sensitivity towards the impoverished.

In his presidential address at the event Vinay Gupta said that under the world’s biggest food security program, the Modi government has ensured that the cooking gas of every poor remains burning and no one goes hungry. He proclaimed the strength of India lies in the power of every citizen of the country. He said to further strengthen this power, Modi Sarkaar has decided to continue the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana for six more months till September 2022. More than 80 crore people in the country will be able to take advantage of this as before. Moreover, Vinay asserted that BJP is the only party who stands and thought for the general public of India although we know that other political parties only do fake promises but they are not able to fulfil them.
Kavinder Gupta emphasized that PMGKAY is a boon for the poor people of the country who were finding it hard to feed their families due to the non-availability of employment amid COVID-19. He said that the world has changed during COVID-19 and billions of families had been rendered jobless following frequent shutdowns and lockdowns to contain the spread of the deadly virus. Keeping in mind the miseries and hardships of the people, the Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended the PMGKAY scheme another six months till September 2022 which is providing free rations to the 80 crore families of the nation. He asked the BJP party cadres to ensure that the scheme is implemented in toto and those beneficiaries of the scheme may be benefitted.
