Srinagar, 28 September 2025:Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir held a workshop at Church Lane, Srinagar, to review its preparations for the upcoming Atmanirbhar Bharat – Sankalp Campaign under the Seva Pakhwada 2025 initiative.
This public outreach campaign by BJP aims to generate widespread awareness among citizens about the importance of Vocal for Local and self-reliance in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for an empowered India.
BJP J&K President Sat Sharma (CA), chiefly addressed the workshop, while, General Secretary Anwar Khan, Secretaries Mudasir Wani and Arif Raja, BJP Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi, Bilal Parray, Co-Convenor of All Cells & Program Incharge of the campaign, former MLC Charanjit Singh Khalsa, Adv. Sajid Yousuf Shah, Sajad Raina, Sartaj Majeed, District Presidents, District Prabharis, and campaign incharges from across the Kashmir Valley participated in the workshop.
Sat Sharma, while addressing in the workshop said that the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat – Sankalap’ Campaign embodies the BJP’s core ideology of service, self reliance, and inclusive growth. He said that as the dedicated BJP cadre, they are committed to taking this campaign to every village and corner of Jammu and Kashmir so that its benefits are realized by all. He also prompted them for a pledge to execute Sewa Pakhwada 2025 with full dedication, ensuring that the impact of the welfare initiatives reaches the grassroots level across the Kashmir valley and beyond.
Anwar Khan said that the “Atmanirbhar Bharat is not just a campaign but a movement of national transformation. He said that through this initiative, BJP aims to empower every citizen, especially the youth and entrepreneurs of Jammu and Kashmir, to become self-reliant and contribute actively to the nation’s development.
Sunil Sethi highlighted the constitutional and economic significance of the initiative. He said that the journey towards self reliance is about restoring dignity to every Indian. This campaign bridges the gap between government schemes and the common man, ensuring that empowerment begins from the grassroots.
Bilal Parray said that the BJP workers are working across the Kashmir valley to engage every section of society through awareness drives, workshops, and direct outreach, making Vocal for Local a household concept.
