Public can aid medical staff in fighting corona virus by observing COVID appropriate behavior:  Dr Yudhvir

DODA, MAY 15: Public can greatly help the medical staff in fighting corona virus by following COVID’s appropriate behavior, said Dr. Yudhvir, manning the Covid section in Associated Hospital Government Medical College Doda with a team of paramedics.

Sharing his experience while working amid intensive second wave, he said there was an immediate need to break the transmission chain which can be done by taking extra precautions.

“This is equally important for the public and we people who work in extreme risk and are always worried about the safety and health of our family,” he said and added, “This fear keeps us away from our loved once.”

Highlighting another brighter side of following the SoPs, he said that the patient who cooperates with medical staff, follow SOPs, and maintain hygiene show faster recovery.

He urged the public to aid the medical fraternity in the fight against corona virus by following COVID appropriate behaviour. He appealed to the public to stay indoors until having an emergency, wear a proper mask, keep social distance, maintain hand hygiene, keep your homes ventilated and go for vaccination at the earliest.
