Confederation slams BJP, Congress, LG Admin; questions their policies for Bahujan

Jammu, 14.12.22: All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations, J&K made a statement today that they are least concerned about the Amrit Kal launched by Prime Minister of India, backed by BJP, and Bharat Jhodo Rally run by Congress and usage of Ambedkar, Bhagat Singh and his icons by Aam Aadmi party. We are only concerned about how the two major political parties are accommodating the issues of Bahujans. We are only concerned about the increasing privatisation of government sectors, dilution of fundamental rights and constitution, 60 lakh backlog, lapse of Plan, Non-plan funds for SC/STs, among others.

RK Kalsotra, State President Confederation J&K, said that the LG administration in J&K has failed to deliver what it claimed to achieve. Reservation in Promotions is not implemented, backlog of 1.5 lakhs is still not filled, 27% OBC reservation is not available, cases of caste based atrocities are on the rise. Moreover, SC/ST employees posted in Kashmir are being targeted and killed but still the administration has warned them to join back without caring for their security. It is a shame that the administration claims to be looking for the vulnerable sections but is not doing enough in reality. It is a failure of the administration that they are not being accommodating at their own places, or via online mode as was the case during the pandemic. In case these issues are not addressed, the confederation will be left with no choice but to gherao the Raj Bhawan and demand justice for such employees.

Kalsotra also said that the public should look out for the propaganda in these campaigns and LG admin should immediately address the issues of the aforementioned employees.
