Ex-Mayor and DIG Traffic visit Shri Amarnathji Yatra Langar, commend services provided to pilgrims

18-07-2023 : Today ex mayor Sh.Chander Mohan & DIG Traffic Shridhar Patil visited the langar of Shri Amarnathji Yatra Welfare Society (SAYWS), which is located opposite Saraswati Dham at the Railway Station where they interacted with the pilgrims and assessed the facilities provided to them. They also served the langar to pilgrims here and commended the services being offered by SAYWS.

As a gesture of appreciation, SAYWS office bearers honored Sh. Chander Mohan Ji & Sh.Shridhar Patil and presented him with a photograph of the naturally formed Ice-Lingam of Baba Amarnathji. Langar committee also honoured Sh. Ricky Gupta Co convener BJP Ut J &K.Sh.Rajesh Gupta chairman tourist federation accompanied during the visit.

Sh.Ashok Khajuria ex MLA BJP appreicited langar committee for their tireless efforts. Expressing his gratitude, Sh Kiran Wattal President of SAYWS thanked all guests for their visit and provided a brief overview of the society’s activities.

Later, Sh Anil Gupta Senior Vice President SAYWS emphasized that utmost attention was given to maintaining cleanliness at the langar, and packaged drinking water bottles were provided to the pilgrims. He also praised the administration & police personnel for round-the-clock services to pilgrims.He also thanked the media for providing timely information to pilgrims. He further highlighted that SAYWS ran the langar solely with the support of its office bearers, without any external contributions and also “Approximately 3,000 to 4,000 pilgrims are served langar at the SAYWS venue on a daily basis,” he said.He also thanked Sh. Rajesh Gupta Ji & Ashok Khajuria Ji for their kind visit.
