BBIA hails Govt. decision on withdrawl of power curtailment in Industrial Areas

04-05-2022 : A meeting of Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) was held under the Presidentship of Sh. Lalit Mahajan in the presence of Sh. Tarun Singla, Sr. Vice President, Sh. Ajay Langer Vice President, Sh. Viraaj Malhotra General Secretary, Sh. Rajesh Jain Secretary and Sh. Vivek Singhal Treasurer BBIA in which member present in the meeting hails the Government’s decision to withdraw the Power Curtailments schedule as notified earlier by the Power Development Department.

Sh. Lalit Mahajan President, Bari Brahmana Industries Association conveys the heartiest thanks to Sh. Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Lt. Governor of J&K UT, Sh. Nitishwar Kumar(IAS), Principal Secretary to Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, Sh. Shiv Anant Tayal, IAS Managing Director, JPDCL, Jammu, Chief Engineer, JPDCL,  Jammu for their sincere efforts for the allocation of Additional 200MW Power from Central Pool due to which imposition of 4 Hours Power Cut in Industrial Areas stands withdrawn which will provide great relief to the Industrial Sector.

 It is pertinent to mention here that the Industrial Units of Bari Brahmana Industrial Complex contributing Rs.150 Crores per annum as Power Usage charges to Power Development Department with the 7 to 8% Transmission Losses which is much lower than the National average Transmission Losses.

 BBIA appeals to Sh. Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Sh. Nitishwar Kumar(IAS), Principal Secretary to Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, Sh. Shiv Anant Tayal, IAS Managing Director, JPDCL, Jammu, Chief Engineer, JPDCL,  Jammu for providing Un-interrupted Power Supply to the Industrial Sector of J&K.
