BJP set to get thumping majority in Himachal: Kavinder

Felicitated Kargil War heroes

JOGINDER NAGAR (HP): Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister J&K, Kavinder Gupta on Tuesday said that Bharatiya Janata Party is set to get a thumping majority in Himachal Pradesh for ensuring good governance and corruption free administration.

Kavinder said this while addressing a public meeting in Panchayat Pipli. The BJP stalwart also held public rallies in other villages of Joginder Nagar Constituency to garner votes in favour of BJP candidate Prakash Rana. Others who accompanied Kavinder Gupta during public rallies include Jaideep Samyal, Mahinder Singh, Inder Singh, Arjun Kumar, Jai Singh, Pawan Thakur, D.D Thakur and Kali Das.

Kavinder said that BJP’s performance in HP elections will be stunning and will decimate Congress in the State. Terming the Congress party as ‘sinking boat’, he said that HP elections will show the real face to the Congress as its leadership both at the centre and in HP had exploited people to the hilt.    He said that BJP’s countrywide wave and unblemished image will further help the party in HP elections as the candidates have been handpicked by the party leadership looking into their clean record and pervasive experience.

Meanwhile, the visiting BJP leader from J&K also felicitated Kargil War heroes Capt Govind Singh, Capt Sant Ram and Naib Subedar Nagender Singh here at Panchayat Suan Khera in village Buda Balehra. Kavinder said that the country owes much towards the brave-hearts who fought with courage and had shown extreme levels of camaraderie during the toughest armed conflict between India and Pakistan in Kargil. He said India will always remain indebted to its soldiers who had won the battle despite hundreds of odds and crooked enemy.
