Confederation SC ST OBC pay tribute to Mother Teresa on her birth anniversary

Jammu, 26.08.21: All India Confederation of SC ST OBC Organisations held a prayer service at their head office at Resham Ghar Jammu today on the eve of Mother Teresa’s birth anniversary. Candles were lit and tribute was paid to her on her 111th birth anniversary.

RK Kalsotra, State President Confederation, said that Mother Teresa was the epitome of the message of peace, humanity, and fraternity. She laid down her whole life for the service of humankind. She lived with the distressed and worked for them which made her recipient of various awards like the Nobel Peace Prize, Ramon Magsaysay Award, Bharat Ratna among others.

Kalsotra said that we should take inspiration from her work and work selflessly just like her to help those who are in dire need of help today. Kalsotra also added that her legacy of working for society should continue even today and especially the youth should come forth and strengthen the organizations working for the societal cause.
