International Focus on J&K: Czech Republic Delegation Explores Investment and Technology Collaborations with Local SMEs
Prague, Czech Republic, October 2024: In a significant meeting held during his visit to the Czech Republic, Sh. Rahul Sahai, Chairman of PHDCCI Jammu Chapter and a prominent industrialist, extended heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for the successful and peaceful conduct of the recent elections in Jammu & Kashmir. The meeting was headed by Sh. Raveesh Kumar, Indian Ambassador to the Czech Republic, and other distinguished members of an international delegation addressed by the Czech Embassy.
Rahul Sahai commended the Indian government for its exceptional efforts in ensuring a smooth electoral process in Jammu & Kashmir. He also congratulated all the winning parties, expressing his best wishes for the newly elected representatives as they embark on their journey of governance. Sahai highlighted that these elections mark a significant step towards a brighter and more prosperous future for Jammu & Kashmir. Sahai also mentioned about successful G20 Summit in J&K.
During the discussions, Sahai sensitized Ambassador Raveesh Kumar and other attendees about the New Central Sector Scheme (NCSS) package extended by the Indian government to Jammu & Kashmir, emphasizing how it is already delivering remarkable results. He pointed out the robust inflow of investments into the region, signifying confidence in the state’s potential for growth and development. “The NCSS package is driving positive change, and the region is seeing significant interest from investors,” Sahai said.

Sahai informed Sh. Raveesh Kumar, Indian Ambassador to the Czech Republic, that a lot of SMEs of J&K can do technology collaborations with Czech companies. In this regard, he invited Czech companies through Indian ambassadors to visit J&K for collaborations.
